Known issues - TripDeck 1.5.1!

A bug in TripDeck 1.5.1’s Flight - "Search By Route" results in the end-user not being able to successfully input the From or To destination airports.  Please upgrade to version 1.5.2 which was released on 7/7/10.

TripDeck is now FREE! What if I bought TripDeck when it was a paid app?

Basic TripDeck functionality is now free, and new users can purchase add-ons. The add-ons are: real-time flight status information, push alerts for flight info updates and beautiful, live flight maps. If you were already a TripDeck user, to show our appreciation for your business we’ve given you live flight maps for free (as well as the flight status and flight push alerts). And don't worry, we aren't planning to put ads in the app.

I previously purchased TripDeck, and it’s asking me to pay for features now?

Email us and we’ll have your features working in a jiffy. Because of limitations with the App Store, if you have already bought the app but deleted it or have a new phone, you won't be able to re-download the version with the features. So if you've already downloaded the paid version, email us and we'll hook you up with the latest, full-featured version.

How do TripDeck and FlightTrack Pro differ?

TripDeck covers all types of travel: flights (with push notifications), rental cars, hotels, trains, etc. Each item in your itinerary is displayed as a “Trip Card” that can be edited while on the go. FlightTrack Pro provides very detailed flight tracking, with live flight maps and airport conditions, push notifications, and delay forecasts (based on past performance of a flight). Both TripDeck and FlightTrack Pro can sync with TripIt.

How can I change settings for push notifications?

By default, push notifications are enabled for all active flights. Here’s how to turn them off: At your iPhone or iPod touch home screen, tap Settings > Notifications > TripDeck. For an upcoming release, we are working to make it possible to turn notifications on and off for individual flights.

Syncing with TripIt.

  • TripDeck works with the free version of TripIt and does not require the paid (Pro) version.
  • All future trips (personal and shared) are automatically synced. You can “unlink” a trip from TripIt to add and edit information on the go.

Why can’t TripDeck find my flight?

TripDeck’s flight search uses schedule information received from the airlines. For some flights, especially international ones, we don't receive schedules until 1 month before the flight.
